Load in this order. Save battery and you will do things well.
The first thing to do is connect the charger to your electric scooter 2. The opposite order when removed. Remove from the wall and then remove from the electric scooter.
Loading is the riskiest step. Most of the risks are related to charging the battery and after charging for a few hours.
Some things you should know.
- Don't overload it! Remove the electric scooter from the charger as soon as possible after the charger light has turned green, i.e. when charging is complete. Lithium battery overcharging reduces battery life and may pose safety risks. Use a timer so you know more or less where to go eventually.
- When you play it safe, please monitor charging, don't leave any battery powered devices unattended to charge.
- The charger must be intact in all respects. Chargers that appear to be damaged, perform poorly, or have damaged cord or connectors may be a safety risk.
- Use only the high-quality charger that comes with the electric scooter or the corresponding high-quality charger.
- Charge the battery when it has cooled down. After driving, please wait for a while before starting to charge.
- Always fully charge a new lithium battery before driving or using it for the first time.
- Avoid so-called "fast charges", short charges. Fast charging shortens battery life and consumes battery power. Battery life can also be estimated by the number of charges.
- The best way is to charge the battery just before driving. And the optimal range is the 20/80 rule. Not less than 20% and not more than 80%. Or at least avoid below 20% and keep the battery idle for longer periods at 100%.
The above are guide values. Not many people can follow them for one reason or another. Do what you can. In principle, common sense is always recommended when using batteries. High-quality batteries are very hard-wearing, but care should always be taken when dealing with moisture, jolts, and dripping. We want you to be okay, not preach or deny. With all due respect based on our experience.
